Hello everyon I Thank God for giving me and other Mcgi members to be part of today mcgi cares live. The teaching has been expository, I thank God for using bro Elisoriano and bro Daniel to teach us.
Bro Elisoriano and Bro Daniel started with the in-dept teaching about love.
LESSON FROM TODAY MCGI CARES
In today's session of the mcgi cares live I learnt that There are different ways to express love to our loved ones. What is love? I learnt that people become happier when we treat them with love
Secondly I learnt that love is not proud and it is not boastful, so when we are said to have love then all these qualities should manifest in us.
I also learnt about the qualities of love. When we have love then we should not rejoice in sin but rather we should stand on the truth.
I learnt that Love brings endurance, and we should learn to tolerate people close to us.Love brings happiness and resolution,this is what God is trying to tell us.
I learnt that The real power and change belongs to God and we should trust in the Lord because sometimes our own understanding or lips can deceive us. we should trust in God with all of our heart instead of trusting fully on our own knowledge or understanding.
I also learnt the types of love which are
Eros(Shows intimacy and romance), Agape (one of a kind love which is selfless),ludus love ( playful love), Pragma love (Found in long term relationship) and lot more.I learnt about giving that it is good to give he that give to the poor gives to God and he rewards them. We have to be merciful to people.
IMPACT OF TODAYS TEACHINGS IN MY LIFE.
Todays teachings has helped my love life as a christian.I now understand the kinds of love and the rules of love. Love is one of the commandments of christ and necessary to christian life.
Todays teachings has also made me understand that when am giving to the needy am giving to God and God will reward me.
Todays teachings also made me understand that we should not look down on brethren with lapses and also love is not provoked and this will help my daily life because my duty as a christian is to show love and make other brethrens enlightened.
