MCGI CARES LIVE 12th MAY REPLAY.
I want to thank God I had another opportunity to learn from Gods word in the mcgi cares replay because I couldn't join the afternoon session. It was an amazing time again in Gods presence with Bro Elisoriano and Bro Daniel.
TEACHINGS IN THE MCGI CARES.
We started by learning about obeying Gods Commandments and Learning about the proper way of training up a child. Ecclesiastes 12:3 observing and obeying God commandment shows that we truly love God
What is the proper way of training up a child? honoring and respecting our parents is among the 10 commandments of God. There is different culture of training up a child based in different countries. In some countries like america the children are given opportunity to share their opinion and also to be independent. In some country this is not allowed.
We should help children to become successful adults, though normally children are raised based on their existing culture. Just like in the western culture they train children to become independent, as from the age of 18 the children live on their own and fend themselves. Also the Philippines value family so much, even when the children are married they still live with their parents under one roof.
It is not only the child that depends on the parents for everything, but a time comes when the parents will have to depend on the children when they are old.A child is expected to follow the leadership of his or her parents, a child does not have all the freedom when they are with their parents because they have to respect their parents who ever curses his Father or Mother his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness
We continued by learning about doing good. We should learn to love and do good to both our parents and even our enemies. We have no reason to hate or dislike our parents, we should show love to them, because God has instructed us never to deny any man love, even if such person is our enemy.We are to endeavor to do good irrespective of the religion, race or colour.
Our good should not be limited to those we only know let us learn how to spread the gospel by doing good to others.we should not withhold good from them to whom it is due, when it is in our power to do good.We should open our hearts to the poor job 31:32 we should engage in charity
We got understand that those that steal should steal no more. man must provide for his family if not he is worse than an infidel.A man should labour with his hands and be content.
LESSONS LEARNT.
In the mcgi care live I learnt about the responsibility as parents. We are to push our children to success and independence by supporting them in any way we can because one day we will grow old and its them that will take care of us.
I also learnt that as christians we are to obey and love our parents and our enemies. We are to do good to everyone irrespective of their race. We are to help the needy if we have the ability to do so. And I also learnt that we should not steal. And we are to work hard and be content with what we have.
