MASS INDOCTRINATION DAY 3 MAY 18th 2022.
Hello every one. We have been learning about the words of Christ I Thank God for giving me and other Mcgi members to be part of todays.mass indoctrination. The teaching has been expository, I thank God for using bro Elisoriano who started with the in-depth teaching of false prophets and also preached about prayer.
LESSON FROM THE TEACHINGS.
In todays mass indoctrination I learnt that We should stick to the doctrine of christ by the right prophet. There are doctrines of falls prophet. That is why we should the follow the bible. It is a standard. It must be a balance.
I learnt that If the person praying is evil God dsnt accept the prayer. If the person praying is upright the prayer will be accepted
3.We should accept what the bible says not what anyone says. We are to make comparison. We should hold onto that which is good and stay away from what is evil
I also learnt that There is an appropriate manner of praying which is accepted by God The father knows what we need before we ask him.
I learnt that Another way for a prayer not to be accepted is praying to show off Prayer is a private matter between we and God. We should forgive people before we pray.
I learnt that We should kneel down to pray To kneel down is to fold our knees and that Praying is a commandment of our lord Jesus Christ.
I learnt and understand that Kneeling down increases respect to God. When we pray we should cover our head as woman. A man must not pray covering their head. A woman that does not have covering on the head while praying is dishonoring her head.
HOW IT HAS IMPACTED MY LIFE.
Todays session of the mass indoctrination has impacted my life and made me understand deeper about prayer lifestyle as a christian and a child of God.
Before i use to believe that we can pray anywhere and anytime but now I understand that we have to pray in secret with concentration.
Before I use to believe that it is not a crime to open our hair to pray as woman since we have our natural hair already covering us but now I know it is wrong to leave the hair open.
Before I use to believe that we can repeat our prayer In order to remind God of our needs but now I understand that as our father he knows our need and has it in heart always that one time is enough to present our needs to God.
Finally I use to believe that I can stay in any position to pray but now I know that kneeling down to pray shows more respect to God during prayer.
