MASS INDOCTRINATION DAY 3
Hello every one. We have been learning about the words of Christ I Thank God for giving me and other Mcgi members to be part of todays mass indoctrination The teaching has been wonderful, I thank God for using bro Elisoriano.
Bro Elisoriano continued with the in-depth teaching of prayer.
LESSON FROM THE TEACHINGS.
I learnt that Prayer is asking from God not telling stories and repeating. Praying before we eat is also a commandments. Every creature of God is good and not to be refused.
I learnt about When should we pray. People pray on their birthday and when they are sick. Prayer should not be only when we are in discomfort but also when there's comfort. People don't live a prayerful life till there is problem.
I learnt that We are to pray without seizing.We are to pray when we wake up and also pray at night before going to bed.Our words should be few.
I also learnt today that How can we be sure our prayer will be answered. We have to call upon God with a pure heart. Gods ears are open to the righteous but closed to the wicked heart. The prayer of the upright is Gods delight.
I got understanding that Out of the heart proceeds evil thoughts. God sees the heart for our prayer to be accepted we must purify our hearts.
I learnt that It is Gods word that can clean and purify us only if we allow it enter our hearts. We should obey it.
I learnt that We are to keep away from adultery hatred strive seduction envy rebelling and lots more in order to inherit Gods kingdom jealousy. Some people are jealous of female crabs and monkeys. All of this should be taken away so our hearts will be clean.
I understood today that The abundance of the heart is what the mouth speaketh. The eyes of God is over the righteous. We are to seek peace and do good that is when God answers our prayers
I also understand that Everything on earth can be tamed except the tongue of man. It is necessary to purify our tongues before we pray. There are people who show friendly faces but are evil. So we should keep the word of God.
Finally I learnt that God is teaching us that our yes should be yes and our no should be no. We do not know tomorrow. A christian does not just speak his words have honor. If God sees that there is deception he will not answer. The word of God should tame our tongue. A truthful tongue is a faithful heart. The law of kindness is in our tongue.
IMPACT OF THE TEACHING IN MY LIFE.
Todays teachings was very helpful to my daily christian life and I got to know more about praying in the right manner and praying to get answers.
Todays teaching has impacted my life by making me conscious of my heart and tongue before I go to God in prayers. Before I usually believe because God is merciful nomata what I do I can ask for forgiveness and go ahead in my prayers but now I believe I have a duty by filling my heart with his word so I don't sin before coming to God in prayers.
