There are many things we can feel grateful about, just right now. And embracing them should be natural. But the truth is, we learn to become ignorant about the blessings of our life, and as a result, we also fail to celebrate life.
You may hear about the 'list of gratefulness'. Did you ever take time to make a list about why you should feel grateful? If not then you should do that now. Use a pen and paper and write down a few. You will see, how your life is ahead of many others in different ways. It will lead you to feel more grateful and understanding.
One common thing happens to us all and that is we feel guilty if we feel happy for something small. We start to think about what others will think. This thought process doesn't let us feel grateful, notice, and embrace the small things in life. Also, we let ourselves be in toxic competition and end up feeling anxious all the time.
We don't see the 'output' of our act that everything we do to reach our goal takes away something from our life. If we forget to fill backspace with joy and don't add value to life, our life would be meaningless. That is why it's necessary to embrace the joy of life, even if it's about just a simple thing.
Don't you see around how people are becoming 'less happy' just because they forget to celebrate life not because they have 'less'? It's our duty too to make others understand there is nothing wrong to embrace what you have. Maybe it's not much compared to others but it's more than enough for many of us.
Normalize the celebration of life, life would be happier!
