Unfortanely morgellons is very present worldwide, fibers and some kind of "pseudo-life" (see "from chemtrails to pseudolife" something like that.
You can try the wine test, search about it with "morgellons", or you can ship the fibers to 2 or more labs to evaluate the answers.
