Have you ever seen a road that has literally melted? Or something weirder? ..well, ...

... this one is close enough.
I was riding in Laos and suddenly the road felt really weird. I was thinking that maybe am just tired and my eyes were playing tricks on me..but no!
The grooves are caused by heavy Chinese trucks and hot hot tarmac. Grooves are literally being carved into the surface. Crazy !
