hope you are all doing great today.
It has been a great day here, with a bit of rain in the morning and cloudy weather throughout the day. We are approaching the end of the monsoon season and I am not much pleased about it.
Woke up today with a little fatigue, but I managed to go to work at least to supervise and take stock of production. At noon I was back home to get some rest. Seems I have overworked myself lately, the body is demanding for slowdown.
Yesterday night I read several blog-post about a project that will be launching officially on 08-08-2022. So I decided to dig deeper in order to harvest as much information as possible before making a little investment. From my research, I discovered that 3speaks team is behind the project (SPK) Judging from the way it went viral, seems hivians have been waiting for this for so long. I also learnt that for many months, they have been airdropping the token; LARYNX.
What is it about SPK and LARYNX?
SPK: According to the information on their website. SPK is governance token for the SPK Network as well as a decentralized web 3 protocol that rewards everyone on the network for their different task or activities. The SPK token supports five other tokens which will be used to effect transactions and compensate node operators who help keep the network functional and secure. Apart from these, the token has other utilities that will blow your mind away.
LARYNX: This token is like the spearhead of the ecosystem, it has almost the same utility as Hive Power. It is called the miner and power token of the SPK network. LARYNX POWER (LP) give users the ability to earn SPK, governance tokens and delegate to node providers.
I got some for myself and will be grabbing more soon if the price has not skyrocketed because from all indication, the price might not be the same after Monday. When I bought mine, the trading volume was just $50, but at the time of writing this post the volume has rised to $600.
How do you get LARYNX?
The only place to get this token is on vue.dlux.io/dex, but you must have hive token ready in your hive account and not on hive-engine. It will not work if your hive is on hive-engine, you just have to withdraw it to your hive wallet first.
1 Head over to the site mentioned above and sign in using your hive user name and keychain as the authenticator.
2 Once there, click on Dex to get to the next page
3 Locate token on the top left corner of the page, from the drop-down menu, chose LARNYX.
When the page opens, scroll down and place your order.
4 Now you've got some LARYNX, from the top right corner of the page where your hive user name appears, click on it and a drop-down menu will appear, then chose wallet.
5 Once a new page appear click on SPK test to go the the next page.
6 On the next page, you will see the number of LARYNX you have, power up the amount you want and scroll down to delegate whatever you wish to node operators and voila, you are set to go.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE! FOR NOW DON'T POWERUP OR DELEGATE UNTIL MONDAY, THERE COULD BE BUGS SO YOU DON'T LOSE YOUR TOKENS, I WAS TOLD THEY ARE STILL ON TEST MODE.
