Manufacturing process:
Preparing the Molds
We begin by tracing the molds of each body part. The reference images will help you identify how each section should look.
Making the Costume
The first thing we put together is the costume, using black foam as a base. This will be the main body of the figure.
Creating the Face
For the face, we used white foam, leaving a small triangle at the top as a distinctive detail. Next, we moved on to the hair, cutting it to fit the character's style.
Hands and Arms
Each arm and hand has a different design, so it's important to follow the patterns carefully. You'll notice that one arm is extended and the other makes the "rock on" gesture.
Assembly
We glue the pieces together piece by piece with hot glue: first the body, then the head and hair. Then we attach the arms. To give it a special touch, we add details like the belt and shoulder pads using silver frosted foam.
Final Details
With black paint, we add the final touches: lines on the hands to define the fingers, color on the tongue, and glitter in the eyes to highlight the expression. These small details bring the figure to life.
Este proyecto no solo rinde homenaje a una leyenda del rock, sino que también permite explorar técnicas de recorte, ensamblaje y pintura en manualidades. ¡Gracias por acompañarme en este proceso creativo!
This project not only pays tribute to a rock legend, but also allows us to explore cutting, assembly, and painting techniques in crafts. Thank you for joining me in this creative process!
