The Giant Pumpkin!
Did you know?
- Hi ant pumpkins can contain up to 800 seeds;
- When weather conditions are good, giant pumpkins can grow up to 50 pounds per day!
- Giant pumpkins are grown on beds of sand to prevent cracking;
- Each giant pumpkin is the only fruit on their vine;
- Pumpkins are really fruits! Specifically, they are winter squash, which includes cucumbers and melons.
