Potential chance in the APR of HBD

Friends, one of the major attraction about Hive ecosystem is 20% APR on HBD investment. 20% APR is a hot cake for the new crypto investors as there is no blockchain which is offering huge APR on stable coins investment. Now, debate is going on to reduce the APR from 20%.

Top 20 witnesses will define the fate of HBD. If we check out the list of top 20 witnesses, we will observed 8 witnesses are in favour of reducing HBD APR, whereas, 12 witnesses are in favour of keeping HBD to 20% APR. Interestingly top witnesses like @blocktrades @gtg and @ausbitbank are in favour of reducing HBD APR. There is no need to worry as 20% HBD APR is supported by @arcanage @peakd @stoodkev. Let's see what will be the outcomes of this important matter.

This matter is very important for the old and potential new investors. For investors, 20% APR on stable coin is very attractive opportunity. So, majority of people don't want to reduce APR. 20% APR may help to bring masses here on this amazing community but on the other hands there is drawback of massive HBD investment. Massive HBD investment at 20% APR will required more HBD printing which may become harmful for the Hive ecosystem.

In my opinion as long as there is no danger of harming the Hive ecosystem, HBD APR must be kept at 20%. However, lower APR must be implemented in case there is danger of disturbing Hive ecosystem.
