Hi, lovely Bees lol.
A wonderful day huh? Well, I had a great day today and I couldn't just stop feeding my eyes on that lovely sky and surroundings.
So far I would have published this in the #photography community but something pushed me to post it in this community rather.
Don't worry I will tell you what pushed me.
For some reason, I usually admire the foreign countries because of how beautiful I imagine them and view them on cameras and on screen.
I usually wonder why they have lots of such beautiful places to travel around, some take a walk around beautiful gardens and parks, some visit the mountain top, while some go to the beach, etc.
Some visit some beautiful houses and building and they always have lovely photos to share and when I see them I will be awed and I keep wondering if we have such beautiful places here as the ones I used to see in other countries, quote me, they are lots of such places here but I just haven't tour around those places which I am still hoping to someday.
80% of what we see on photos and screen may not be originally what it is but, all the same, they are always inviting and worth the gesture. For a while now I have been admiring the beautiful shots from @ybanezkim26
His cover image alone is so inviting. I read some travel and photography posts from his blog and every time I open each post, I am always like WOW! WOW! WOW! like an ambulance lol.
The last post he made is about flying a gyrocopter and trust me it is a lovely sight to behold as always.
And the funny thing is that most of his photos are captured with his phone and not his camera yet the editing is always top-notch. I may be lying if I say anything otherwise but he inspired this presentation.
My photos may not be half as good as his but I wanted to make this worth viewing and appreciating.
So back to where this is, don't forget it's @haveyoubeenhere community and you will have to tell me or better still guess this location before I tell you where this is and you will tell me if you have been here before.
Do you remember me telling you earlier how I admire foreign countries because of their beautiful locations and places to visit? Well, we have a lot of awesome places to visit here too but only if you will have the strength and energy to travel to all those places.
This might not be a very known place especially to our foreigner friends here but I believe it's the purpose of this community. To find out about new places you haven't been to or heard about before.
Ok, You guys already know Nigeria as a country, yes that is my country.
And this location is my state, Akwa Ibom State.
This is somewhere in my local city lol, did you think I travelled to one city in France? lol, just kidding. I don't even think France have such greenery and vegetation.
We went for a little walk around the city with my dad and brother. We got to this lovely place and I couldn't bypass it so I told dad to park his car somewhere while we get down for me to capture these places lol.
He understood I had a site I wanted to share this so he had to fulfil my wishes and parked the car for me and my brother to capture the lovely view.
This is a rubber plantation. These are the trees used in making our local footballs. I have been to this thick forest before lol, I witnessed how the raw materials are being extracted from the trees but what I don't know is how the refine it into manufacturing footballs.
The second photo is the parking space my dad parked his car, actually, it isn't a parking space but my dad did park his car here while I took that chance to captured the moving vehicles. And this medium is where we stood to capture all the other photos.
The third shows the construction of an underground water pathway that leads directly into the forest. I don't know if I should actually call this a forest because some part isn't that thick.
Here is a wider view of what the construction looks like. The pathway for the water is cast with igneous stones so that the water won't dig deep into the soil thereby causing erosion and leaving behind big holes.
Another view from a different angle. Can you see those roofs and houses at the topmost part? Meaning people have houses around.
I hope you liked the natural view here. If you ever visit Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State, hit me up and I will take you to behold this site as well.
Did you like my @haveyoubeenhere article? I need to go to a lot of places to be able to share another experience next time.
Thank you for sparing me some time and reading through.
Remember to;
Say Hi to @zanoz
