Not only am I glad that I am finally taking part in this initiative for the first time but I am also pleased with this week's phrase word "2021, Delete and Recount."
Energy Refill is an initiative organized by 
YEAR 2020?
I bumped into a post yesterday but I can't exactly remember who. In his post, he mentioned 2020 to be a form of foundation for the year 2021. To quote him rightly " whatever or however our year 2021 turn out to be, we have 2020 to thank for it"
For most of us who think the year 2020 has deprived us of so much, just take a break, pause, and rethink over again.
Perhaps there are certain points you are missing out on this year.
To many, 2020 became a training ground, a preparation ahead of the future.
It is true that we all had our various plans and goals for 2020 but along the line, everything seemed shattered without any hope of when things would ever get to normal.
We all stayed up at the night of 31st December 2019 to shout Happy New Year with joy, smile, so much happiness and energy of what we will birth in the new year but unfortunately for all of us, that joy and happiness were cut short in a twinkle of an eye.
We were all left with nothing but chaos, sorrows, and pains. Some were left with failed visions, ideas, goals, and plans.
But amidst all of this, a good number of us have learned a great lesson even in the hard way.
We have learned strength
We have learned independency
We have learned to rely on no one but God
We have learned to smile in our tribulations.
We have worked on ourselves individually to better a better person.
Some of us has walked on hot coal in the year 2020 but we survived the pains
And this makes us well equipped and ready for anything that will arise to challenge us in the future,
This makes us stronger and ready to go the extra mile.
so if ever you are deleting anything in the year 2020, please do not delete all the lessons it taught you, even the ones learned the hard way.
And if you are making a recount and thing you expect and want to see and achieve in the year 2021, never forget the foundation that was laid for you.
Remember all the struggles, all the fears, all the disappointment, and most of all, remember that there is nothing greater than God.
If you could make it through the year 2020, trust me you could do better.
And in 2021 count your losses as gain and remember there was once a time that everything and everywhere seemed like your dead end but you pulled through.
2020 prepared us well for the year 2021. Never forget to give thanks In all circumstances.
