How many days has it been? Permit me to say Happy New Year Bees!
I have been down but hopefully, my health will be restored in no time.
I trust you all are doing well so far.
I've been quite lazy as always but today I decided to work on my digital painting and braids were my major focus today although I am learning how to get my realism, I just took a break and made this quick braids sketch.
Without wasting much time, I will show you guys a few steps below.

My Process

I started with the outline sketch in less than 20 minutes or so. I didn't really time myself

I further filled in the base colors, the color I selected was too light, but not to worry, I adjusted it when I was done with the entire sketch.

I added different layers to work on the highlights. This took a little bit of time and needed me to exercise some patience, although I wasn't patient enough to get it all detailed.
I adjusted the color too to give it a warm look.

Finally, I changed the colored sketch to grayscale. I just wanted to see what it would look like if changed to grayscale, and I do like the outlook so I left it at this.
