My personal experience about deso blockchain and hive blockchain
To be honest I am currently using two decentralized social media blockchain platforms from last few years, first I discovered steem (hive) blockchain back in 2018. And the second is Deso blockchain which I discovered in 2021 when deso coin listed on Blockchain.com wallet
To make things clear I need to mention it here in 2021 Deso blockchain is known as Bitclout and its native currency is known as clout coin, which is rebranded to Deso blockchain and deso coin later
Nader al naji is a founder of deso blockchain, I really wish khaleel kazi the Founder of leofinance and Nadar AL naji should contact with each other in order to build a truly decentralized social media blockchain based ecosystem, it's my dream to see both blockchains communities and leaders come close to each other's and share their knowledge and experience with each other
I learned a lot by using deso blockchain and hive blockchain as well, I am not going into detail of it which blockchain is best or more decentralized etc it's not my topic right now, I don't think there is something wrong with it if someone a member of any other blockchain and cryptocurrency community a long with Hive blockchain
There are so many hive users who are involved in other blockchain and cryptocurrency communities, but for me in the world of DESO Decentralized social hive and deso are my favorite blockchains
There are so many similarities between these to Blockchains but there are also many differences as well, that's why I don't see both as competitors where one blockchain is going to replace another, I see both blockchains as a one team because there are hundreds of areas where we can work together, or may be in future we are able bulid some dapps or Frontends which supports both blockchains or do cross chain transections
How usernames worked on deso blockchain
So now come to the point the one main thing I learned from deso community is that, there are so many usernames already reserved by deso blockchain development team, because they think they are building a decentralized blockchain based alternative of Twitter where everyone currently on Twitter are going to join deso in coming years
That's Why usernames of all top Twitter influencers and verified Twitter users who have thousands and millions of users are already reserved for them, so nobody can claim these username unless the completing KYC or Identity verification
For example in future if Elon musk,Cristiano Ronaldo, CZ Binance and any other twitter celebrity, public figure want to join deso blockchain based social media platform they can do it easily, just by claiming their already reserved usernames on deso blockchain
Another thing is anyone can change his username on deso blockchain, but I think we can not change over username on hive blockchain, I don't have any problem with that because may be it's technically not possible to not good for the blockchain to change username for same account again and again but we can do it on deso blockchain and its a reality
What If Elon musk want to join hive blockchain
Now the problem is what if Elon musk want to join hive blockchain and he want to claims his same user name which he is using on Twitter, what If it's username is already taken by any other hive blockchain user, as you know people love to use same username on all social media platforms, even some social media users willing to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars in order to get their desired username, so that's why we should think about the value of Hive usernames, username on hive even more valuable than any other social media platform because it's can not be changed or edit once it claimd and these are also over wallet addresses
Why we are not using hive user names as a marketing tool
I think we are currently not realizing the potential and value of the Hive usernames, these username can be used as a marketing tool in order to onboard and introduce new users to hive blockchain, what if hive blockchain community starts a promotion compagian in order to onboard thousands of new users by offering them to claims there username before other claimed it
What if hive have a decentralized username exchange
The idea is hive blockchain community should build an exchange where hive users can buy and sell hive usernames, it's just an idea because we need to check if it's technical possible or also secure from account security point of view, that's why I repeated it again and again hive blockchain is a revolutionary blockchain which have a lot of hidden potential we just explore the 1 percent of this hidden potential
Why I think Deso blockchain and hive blockchain communities should collaborate with each others
As a user and member of both blockchain communities I learn a lot from last few years and still trying to explore new opportunities and possibilities, I really wish both community's should collaborate and learn from each others, We can learn a lot from each others especially top developers and leaders should come close to each other
Deso blockchain is also a decentralized blockchain
Many users and investors who already discovered deso blockchain or heard about it think deso is a centralized blockchain that's not true, it's may be not decentralized same as hive blockchain is but it's not totally centerlized on some aspects deso blockchain users also have some reservations but deso also give you full control of your account, you own your account keys and nobody have access to it, it's also decentralized or censorship resistant blockchain but have a foundation which know as a deso foundation same as ethereum have ethereum foundation which are responsible for development or financial activities that's why some users think it's a centralized blockchain
Don't judge a book by its cover
Don't judge a book by its cover that's hundred percent true for hive blockchain and deso blockchain as well, because some people don't even get involved in these blockchains and they make there decisions or perception about these blockchains without using them personally, I think only hive user we is using hive from last two years can realize the true potential of Hive, same is true for deso blockchain only deso blockchain active user can understand the real potential of deso blockchain that's why I am using both
I am going to pin this post on my ecency and Twitter profile for one year
I am writing this post from last few hours it's already crossed the 1123 words and I still have a lot of things on my mind to explain and share with others, in short please try it once only for few days, I mean if you are a hive user please try deso as well for few days and if you are a deso user please try hive blockchain for few days then you can realize the usefulness of this post, that's why I am going to pin this post on my 
Its my dream to see both communities are working together
We all have different life background and experience we should not think we know everything already, there are many things around us which we need to learn, learing ends only when someone dies,
Insha Allah a day will come when all hive users have profiles on deso and deso users have profiles on hive, because both communities are their early stages of development and growth before on boarding others from traditional social media platforms, we should come closer to each other's because we already discovered the hidden potential of Web 3.0 and decentralized social media
Conclusion
I wrote this post for the betterment and growth of both blockchain community in order to exchange there knowledge and experiences with each other, please don't think I am trying to divert one platform or blockchain user to another platform or blockchain, Its not my attention I also don't think it's possible for a user who already using the Hive blockchain he stopped using hive blockchain for deso and it's also not possible for deso users they stopped using deso for hive blockchain
Both blockchains can be used at a same time side by side and there is nothing wrong with that, All we need is as a developer, users, witnesses and content Creators we should have big hearts to welcome each others
Not until I don't received a positive response from both communities about collaboration or working together I will keep pushing this through out the year 2023
So claim your desired username on both blockchains before everyone else
