Ah, you're in the States then. I can think of a few TVRs that are in that category, maybe the newer Tuscan? They're pretty great cars, and there's no question the fit and finish isn't the best. It's the sort of car where the money goes to cover the low-volume production, and the charm of it. Last I've read about it, it's quite the handful to drive, very lively some might say.

I do agree with you on the 480's design. I felt that it was made in SketchUp or AutoCAD as an early render of what it could look like, but the rough edges were never smoothened out. Though I have to wonder if these photos are representative of what the final car looks like, since they dispensed little to no info on it so far. It could very well have been an early illustration, showing off what it roughly looks like. Hopefully the actual car is more polished than this.
