It's very good to be appreciative of the things that you have. Learn to show gratitude to God as the one behind the success you've achieved. In this section, we shall be acknowledging some of the things that we enjoy and we ought to be grateful. Stay tuned as we take a ride.
Firstly, we are alive. Some people wished to live more, but didn't get the opportunity to stay alive. We are living and breathing it's enough reason to be thankful to God. You are reading this writeup, it's an indication that you are alive, you owe God all the thanksgiving.
We shouldn't allow the challenges we go through in life become a barrier to acknowledging God's good hand upon our lives. Everyday we wake up with breath in our nostrils is a pointer that all hope is not lost, their is always a way out of challenges.
Secondly, you have food to eat is another opportunity to show gratitude to God. Can I tell you this? some people go on days without eating food but you are privileged to eat as much as you can and even have leftovers. You need to say thank you to God. It's not a right but a privilege.
I believe that when you thank God for the present situation, you'll enjoy more of His blessings. My mentor said this about appreciation and I quote;
Appreciation is an application for more. Bishop David Oyedepo
He also made this awesome statement and I quote;
When you thank God for His finger, you'll see His hand.
So you see, appreciation goes a long way to trigger the hand of God to release more blessings. My question here is, do you appreciate God as the source of your blessings or do you always murmur and complain? Ponder over this question and give a sincere answer.
Being a child of God entails that you are conscious of the fact that God is the reason behind your existence, He is the reason behind every good thing that comes to you. Don't think it's your handwork alone that got you those achievement but the hand of God, So be GRATEFUL.
In conclusion, it's important to note here that the help of God empowers one to be outstanding in life. That's reason you must stay connected to Him. Until I come your way again with the next section of this topic,
