Nowadays it seems that establishing personal relationships is more complicated, since individualism, materialism, selfishness and difficulty to connect predominate. Certainly, our happiness and the fact that we feel good does not depend more on others than on ourselves, but having good relationships, especially with those closest to us, will help us to live in a more positive environment.
In our daily life, difficulties may appear in our personal relationships, such as misunderstandings, differences of opinions, visions, among others. Sometimes I hear people complaining and complaining about others, always looking for their faults. Of course we cannot change others, but we can work to manage situations better. We must make use of the tools that allow us to maintain good relationships where we operate.
Personal change depends on us, on our will and freedom to choose how we want to behave in such a way that we live better despite the circumstances and influence others to change.

Our relationships may be affected by various factors, such as poor communication with others, so we must always be as we are, by this I mean that we must express our ideas and opinions in an assertive manner, we can not always give in to what others want as this will affect us. We cannot base our well-being on what we cannot control such as the thoughts or feelings of others. We cannot be paralyzed or fearful of what may happen in our relationships. The key is to enhance our self-confidence, to always dare to connect with others by expressing what we think, feel and need.
