Stephen Hawking warned humanity about the dangers of contacting aliens. The English physicist claimed that contacting alien intelligence was a danger, since the possibility of it being more advanced and destroying us was very high.
But, why, in any case, they have not communicated with us? In his essay, the Russian physicist Alexander Berezin explains that we have not contacted alien life for a reason that few have raised.
To begin with, the possibility of an intelligent alien society reaching our planet is low. It specifies that the aliens, if they exist, are in a moment of technological evolution that still does not allow them to reach where we are or, simply, they are on the verge of extinction.
With it we would go from being the conquered race to a conqueror, as we see in science fiction movies.
Do we conquer the universe or do we die?
Berezin hopes that we do not have to resort to such practices as violently conquering other planets, but he does not doubt that humanity is capable of terrible acts with the banner of intergalactic expansion.
However, he believes that finding a habitable planet before the Earth's resources become extinct will help create colonies made with the best of humanity, as the desperation factor would be eliminated.
How about? Do you believe yourself ready to conquer planets in a peaceful way?
