Watercolor is an ideal tool for drawing traditional paintings. If you approach the matter correctly, then working with these colors you can get amazing things.
I will not tell you in detail how I drew this work, because in the photos that I publish today, it is perfectly clear how this work gradually turned out, especially since in my early publications I repeatedly described the process of drawing in a similar technique.
A little touch on the topic of watercolor paper. I use special watercolor paper for different drawings. As a rule, a fairly dense, cellulose or cotton base with a density of not less than 200 g/cm2.
I use squirrel or kolinsky brushes. Usually these are round brushes and I always have small and large brushes for different tasks and purposes.
As a rule, I moisten a sheet of paper on both sides. So the paper does not curl on the table and dries slowly. You can wet the sheet with a large brush or using a spray gun.
I try to draw with open colors and do not mix the colors together, allowing the tones to flow into one another on wet paper. So it turns out less dirt and carelessness.
I recommend practicing your watercolor painting skills as often as possible. To do this, you need to stock up on all the necessary materials in sufficient quantities and do not lose heart when the first failures come. Watercolor - capricious paint, but if you make friends with her, before you will not be any obstacles in any form of painting.
