ULOG #2: Wow Weekend!
How was your weekend? Mine was terrific! It was a wow weekend because I got to spend time with my 👨👩👧and also finished some house chores. We all had been super active that we went to 😴 bed 🛏 early and I was unable to post my Ulog. 😂
Usually, I'd be in the "Today I don't feel like doing anything" mode simply because it's weekend and it's the best time to take things slow and easy (you know what I mean 😉).
But sometimes, I'd also get that "I love you Sabado, Pati buong linggo..." (a song from a famous ad by Jollibee) vibe where I'm super excited to do things!
I guess it all depends on how the entire week went by.
My first ULOG was about how happy I was because God answered my prayer and gave us rain ☔... Plenty of rainwater. Yep! It's been raining since then. Oh, well! I guess God just wants us to have enough water 💦 before Mr. Sunshine ☀ comes and stays up again. 😊
It rained cats and dogs yesterday so my family and I had no choice but to stay at home 🏡 and make the best of our time. (Sadly, we were not able to attend the mass because of the heavy rainfall☔).
We started our day with a short prayer 🙏, a sweet kiss 😘 and a Good morning! greeting from my husband and a warm hug 🤗 from our daughter. It was a good way to start our day!
My husband prepared milky 🥛 pancakes 🥞 and our favorite creamy coffee ☕ with cinnamon. Yum! 😋
It's so nice when your beloved spouse is on off. You get a chance to be the queen 👑, the judge of a king's 👑 cooking 🍳 . On top of that, he washed the dishes 🍽 after we ate.
All right. To make up for my husband's delicious breakfast 🎂 and lunch 🍲 , I did the laundry 👗 , bathe our daughter 👶 , cleaned the house 🏡 , folded and ironed the dried clothes 👖 , and massaged him 🖐️.
While washing the clothes, I took a peek 👁🗨 at what my husband and daughter were doing because they've been both quiet 😯.
I was so glad to see that my husband was feeding our daughter. They were having a good time ⌚. Oh! It was really nice to see them doing father-daughter stuff.
I'm the luckiest wife and mother in the entire world 🌐!
