Blockchain technology is being adopted by big companies and implementing them into their system because it is more secure.
Mastercard Blockchain create room for commerce opportunities and digital transfer between people doing businesses and makes it more faster, this comes with privacy as only the people involve will be able to see the transaction being made thereby eliminating the middle man. This is going to be widely used because over 22,000 financial institution are registered with Mastercard.
They have no interest of creating their own coin or using cryptocurrency because of regulations, they are using just the blockchain technology to implement cross border transfer.
