Campolide Skate Park (Lisbon, Portugal) holds a special place in my heart from 2023. My girl and I lived in Costa de Caparica from November 2022 to May 2023, and it was an incredible time.

I only started surfing around March - before that, I was really into skating like always. Almada doesn't have many skate parks unless you want to hit the streets, which still carries that beach vibe.
I'd often head to Lisbon, and even though Campolide was the first skate park I visited, I kept returning to that spot under the bridge that looks absolutely sick. Also it's mostly protected from the rain.
PT: Só comecei a surfar por volta de Março - antes disso, eu estava mesmo viciado em andar de skate como sempre. Almada não tem muita pista, a não ser que queiras andar nas ruas, que ainda mantêm aquele ambiente de praia.
Frequentemente ia até Lisboa, e embora Campolide tenha sido a primeira pista que visitei, continuava a voltar àquele lugar debaixo da ponte absolutamente incrível. Além disso, nao chove na pista se nao tiver muito vento.
Trick: Drop in
**I did try a few other locations later on, but whenever I wanted to skate, I'd end up back at that perfect spot with the little bowl that I love and that amazing surface. I even have a few skate edits from there!

Eu cheguei a experimentar alguns outros picos, mas sempre que queria andar de skate, acabava por voltar àquele pista irada com o pequeno bowl e aquele chão incrível. Até tenho alguns vídeos editados de lá!

**It was also just more practical because of traffic. Crossing the 25 April bridge at the wrong time could get you stuck for one to two hours, which is insane! So I'd need to go either before rush hour or leave after it ended. **
PT: Também era simplesmente mais prático por causa do trânsito. Atravessar a Ponte 25 de Abril na hora errada podia deixar vc preso durante uma ou duas horas, o que é loucura! Por isso, eu tinha que ir antes ou depois da hora do RUSH.

**One time, there was a photographer I didn't know taking pictures for his project. He was actually not a skateboarder photographer but was there to try it out, and after we chatted, we decided to take some photos together. They came out pretty damn good! So yeah, keep ripping and skate on!
