I'm learning colour theory to help to convey the vibe in a painting. Every painting have their own "vibe", and colour plays a big part. I painted a few portraits actually, but it don't really turns out well enough. This is the only one that I feel is still presentable.
I found some love shaped cactus on the internet and it is definitely adorable. Their name is Conophytum bilobum.

The colour that I'm going for in this painting is pastel green. So here I'm trying to lock down the colour that goes well with green pastel.

I was really really struggling with her face feature hahaha. Her face look like buddha.
I erased her face and painted again with some reference and it's looking better.

Honestly I feel I can do more with this painting, but I don't really know how yet. I need to do more study I think... My knowledge is not enough to perfect this.
