Hello
I'm back with you again in this beloved community. May we all be blessed.
When I hear the word addiction, what comes to mind is addiction to cigarettes and narcotics. Recently, I realized that there are many addictions that humans have, all of which are based on pleasure and dependence. Addiction to something cannot be replaced by anything. In fact, this addiction has two possibilities: it can encourage good deeds, or conversely, addiction can encourage bad and destructive actions.
I realized that addiction doesn't come by itself, but rather requires a continuous effort to experience that pleasure, so that our brain and mind become focused on the pleasure to which the body has become accustomed, which ultimately leads to dependence.
Addiction is not bad, as long as we can control it and use it as energy and enthusiasm in life. Many of them... Those who successfully utilize their addiction as a source of success.
Addiction will remain with a person, whether it's an addiction stemming from an active substance or an addiction influenced by the brain's nervous system. People who are addicted to exercise will love the sport and feel relieved and happy after exercising.
Similarly, those who are addicted to having affairs with other partners will continue to do so to fulfill their addiction. Every time they have sex with another woman, they feel incredibly satisfied.
I've also heard that people who are addicted to religion will love that religion and will continue to be devout, willing to sacrifice anything for it. However, I'm not very familiar with this because, for me, religion is a choice, and obeying it is obligatory, so it's not appropriate to discuss it in terms of addiction.
As I said at the beginning, when I heard the word addiction, What's on my mind is addiction to cigarettes and drugs. I was addicted to smoking until I was 30. I decided to quit smoking. Now I'm 38, so I've been off for eight years. I can't guarantee whether I'll ever be addicted to smoking again. Why do I say this? Am I a person without principles? The answer is, in my area, almost 90 percent of men are active smokers. It's very difficult to find non-smoking men, so I hang out with them every day.
As far as I know, the dangers caused by active smoking can affect those around them. In my opinion, this addiction is very detrimental to oneself and others. Addiction doesn't arise spontaneously, so it can be stopped, but doing so requires sacrifice, strong effort, and commitment. I believe addiction is simply an action and a feeling of pleasure influenced by the mind and brain, which will always be directed to that pleasure center, encouraging someone to continue doing it.
When someone is busy doing something, or resting, or feeling afraid, where is the addiction? I think addiction to something will disappear at that point. From this, we can conclude that all addictions can be overcome because it's not destiny that sticks to us, nor is it that we are powerless to resist addiction. It's just that not many people truly want to leave habits and addictions behind.
Losing the text I had typed for this post means I have to start all over again. This is very sad. I don't want to miss any episodes, so I have to work extra hard today. I apologize for the slight delay in submitting this entry.
