Greetings friends of the HIVE community, in this installment I will show you some images of a small nocturnal insect that walks around shining intermittently called firefly (Photuris).

Este pequeño insecto mide apenas 1centímetro de largo y de una contextura aplanada , con un color combinado de amarillo con pequeñas manchas negras.
This small insect is barely 1 centimeter long and has a flattened texture, with a combined color of yellow with small black spots.

Este ejemplar, también conocido como insectos de fuego en su vida tienen cuatro etapas que serían la embrionaria , la larvaria , etapa de la pupa y la adultes y su tiempo de vida es de 50 días aproximadamente .
This specimen, also known as fire insects in its life has four stages that would be the embryonic, the larval, the pupal stage and the adult and its life span is approximately 50 days.

Estos insectos se alimentan de pequeños caracoles, la cuales lo digieren con inyectarle una especie de enzima digestiva, y se lo come por medio denla succión.
