Saludos amigos de la comunidad de insectos del mundo el día de hoy les compatire unas imágenes de una avispa papelera (Polistes dominula), este ejemplar el momento que capturé las imágenes estaba Recolectando resto de corteza de madera, para construir o completar su panal.
La descripción de esta variedad de avispa es un medio centímetro de largo y con un hermoso color amarillo intenso, con unos leves reflejos oscuros en su cuerpo articulado, contando con unas antenas medianamente largas y con pequeños segmentos apenas perceptible al ojo humano.

Estas avispas se alimentan de sabia y néctar de las flores , pero al estar en la faena de recolección corren el riesgo de ser devoradas por un depredador, eso es todo por el día de hoy espero que les gusten hasta luego.
