Greetings friends of HIVE, in this installment I will share some images of a small honeycomb where the Burú wasp lives. (Polybia occidentalis).

Esta pequeña avispa se puede encontrar , en toda Centroamérica y viven en pequeños panales ya que son muy diminutas, con apenas unos milímetros de tamaño.
This small wasp can be found throughout Central America and they live in small combs since they are very tiny, just a few millimeters in size.

La picada de esta avispa, es muy dolorosa y su lugar favorito es la parte de los ojos, para espantar a los intrusos .
The sting of this wasp is very painful and its favorite place is the part of the eyes, to scare away intruders.

Estos insectos se alimentan de carne de larva joven y mantienen su número gracias a la reina , los obreros y los machos.
