Today we continue with our work, we share with the children of the detainees in the police center of Guanipa, giving a different day to all those children who had months without sharing and seeing their parents.
When I expressed to my friends and colleagues, the idea of carrying out an activity with the children of the prisoners many did not agree, but analyzing the situation from a deeper point and after a conversation with the commissioner of the police institution, we reached the point that infants are not to blame for the mistakes of parents also understanding that the country situation does not allow them to have a Christmas with toys and goodies how it should be. So today we provide everyone full of toys, trinkets, fruits, hallacas, ham bread, soft drinks, meals, games and entertainment.
So immediately, we meet the entire team and propose a concrete response if we help these people making it clear that yes you can change your life and that the most important thing is to transform their lives to provide a quality of life and well-being to their descendants but in a fair, sincere and honest way. The vast majority of them say they are repentances of the ordeal that they live on a daily basis which has made them reflect, thinking that they are in the cemetery of living men.
For the rest of the year we will continue doing activities, tomorrow we will have a sancocho with the neighbors of the Las Barracas sector and a share with the children of the Sabatino sector. !!
