This application is an open source project ,it mainly objective is to capturing full screen and recording voice from microphone, then mix them out to a MP4 file, and they have a non-sense icon , so i decided the design a logo and an icon for this application .

Benefits / Improvements
The original logo has no relation of the objective rule of the application , but the new one has a great meaning by including camera recording symbols and the red color which is the color of the dot of recording .
