I want to thank God for making me to see the brightness of today. It was a wonderful time in the presence of God, I was privileged to participate in the MCGI Cares live event held via zoom, I want to use this opportunity to appreciate the MCGI Cares team for the good works they are doing, they have been taking out time to help the poor and the needy with the little way they can, God bless you all more abundantly.
Lessons learned from today's teaching
our only act of worship is to present our body as a sacrifice, by making it holy and acceptable in the sight of God, Romans 12:1. As Christians, what God wants from us is to be holy and righteous, we should be free from sin and desist from any evil act, the Bible said that is only what God wants from us, so let us make sure we live to the expectation of God and turn away from our evil ways so that can be holy and acceptable in the sight of God.
Parents should train their children in the way of the lord, teaching them all things concerning the word of God, Ephesians 6:4-6. Parents should nurture their children and make sure they are brought up in the way of the lord, But the bible also said why doing this we should not provoke our children unto anger, but rather teach them with love and care so that they learn in a good way without thinking that you hate them.
we should learn how to help the poor and the needy, let us learn how to render our act of service to those around help us. He who help the poor and the needy also do it for God and he must surely those who do that. So wherever we find ourselves let us try to help our fellow brethrens that are in need.
How this teaching has affected me
I have learned to always keep myself holy so that I will be accepted in the sight of God.
It is always good to do good. Always help the poor in whatever way you can and the Lord will bless us all.
Let the name of God be praised now and forever more Amen.
