Hello everyone, it's that time of the year again to express love to your family, friends, and loved ones by giving them the perfect gift to show that.
Before defining success we have to know what it means to us, the term success means different things to different people. Some people see success as attaining financial prosperity or professional achievement while for others success may mean having a fulfilling personal life or impacting the lives of others positively or even the world at large.
Growing up we'll see people with white collar jobs and tag them as successful people or those living in a fancy house and having different cars we tagged them as successful but then as I grew older my perspective of a successful person changed. One thing we have to recognize is that success received in the past can't be compared to the success received now because as we grow older our definition of success changes.

In the real world when something is a success, it means the outcome turns out well, it's very favorable and well-desirable. The societal expectations and definition of success have to do with power, wealth, status, or having the most buildings or lands.
My definition of success goes beyond great achievement, it's not about the amount of money I want to have in my bank account, it's about doing something meaningful that leaves a positive impact on people. To me, success is continually improving myself and becoming a better person, pursuing my passion with genuine dedication, also means leaving my comfort zone and embracing life opportunities, creating and building meaningful relationships, and never settling for less. it is said that success is a journey and not a destination it has to do with the processes involved, where each milestone is a stepping stone towards another great achievement. My definition is more than material possessions, it is all about finding fulfillment and happiness in all ramifications of my life.
How do I measure success? Can it be measured with tape hehe, well success can be measured and it depends on your definition of success as well so you'll know how to measure it, I know most people in our society measure success financially if they have saved a certain amount of money in their bank account they've termed it a success.
I measure success with the shift I've attained in life, looking back to where I was a few years ago and to where I am now is growth and is seen as a success, the little goals I've been able to accomplish along the long run are success to me, the meaningful relationships I've been able to create with others is a success. The obstacles I was able to overcome were a success for me, being healthy, and making myself happy every day is a success to me, and seeing my family smile again despite everything we've been through growing up is a success to me. In conclusion, the balance between my personal and professional life is a huge measure of success.
It's very important to measure success because it tells you how you've spent your time and effort.
