I believe everyone has that epic movie that they have seen 5 billion times and they still rewind it at the end to watch certain parts all over again.

I've seen some movies mention The Breakfast Club, still have never seen it. However, for me, it's Footloose.

First off, there are 2 versions of the movie Footloose. The first version was released in 1984, I haven't had the guts to watch that one yet.

My favourite is the 'new' version released in 2011, starring Kenny Wormald, Julianne Hough, Andie Macdowell, Dennis Quaid and a lot of others.

This movie centres on the life of a young teenager named Ren who moved from Boston to a small town name Bomont to live with his uncle after the death of his mother.

Ren is not a small-town kid and he has a hard time fitting into the small town ways especially their law against public dancing for teenagers.

Bomont was struck by tragedy 3 years before Ren came into the town. 3 high school seniors were killed in a car accident after getting high at a party. That tragedy leads to a law against dancing and partying for young people and an enforced curfew.

Ren tries hard to live with their ways but when he realizes that he can't, he decides to fight back by petitioning against their laws.

Although he loses the case, in the end, he and the other high school seniors still have their dance without their parent's supervision.

This movie has it all!

It has romance, spirituality, violence and a total feel-good vibe.

I've seen it 10 times and I still can't get enough of it.

The best part is, it's now on Netflix.

You are welcome!
