The world is moving at a pace unprecedented. There's a lot of new techs that wasn't expected until years to come and now they exist and the world has to adjust to the realization that it has gone beyond these ideas.

Have you seen a sci-fi movie from the 90s? How they expected spaceships and flying cars in 2019 and other seemingly unimaginable things.

We don't have these flying cars yet, but there are projections for automated electronic vehicles in the next 2 years. That's huge!

So what's stopping the world from having flying cars in the next few years? I think nothing. Flying cars are soon to go from a figment of our imagination to our reality.

When I was younger, I imagined a machine that could automatically create clothing for me. All I had to do was get a picture of it, design the specs and voila! New dress.

I thought it would be cool to have that. I didn't think about online shopping, the internet wasn't as vast as it is now. But I imagined that.

Today, I read about 3D printing and my mind is blown. While I imagined an attire of just a few inches, the world created a machine to create objects of nearly 30ft height. It's incredible.

This is incredible for me, a Gen Z, imagine how absurd it seems to a Boomer who's still trying to work their mind around a mobile phone.

The world isn't waiting. Accept what you see today and know that it will not be the same in the next couple of years.

This may bring you to fear or, you could act like the world and improve. As a Boomer, you'd need to understand that the system doesn't have to work the way it did anymore. Things have changed.

What set a few Boomers apart currently was their consistent hunger for understanding what makes these kids so pumped. They wanted to know. They're constantly wanting to know.

I had a conversation with my dad, maybe ill expand on it in a few days, he mentioned how tough it was to send letters and faxes when he was a child. They would have to travel a distance to a nearby more developed community that had a post office or a fax machine.

Imagine a young boy growing through that, seeing mobile phones, now the internet, now 3D printing. His mind must be in a thousand and one places trying to put together the world he knew and the world he sees.

Sometimes, I empathise with them. Their old age comes with a childlike experience. They're as inquisitive as a toddler. Yet sadly, toddlers grow and improve faster.

Like my 5-year-old nephew teaching his grandpa to use his phone properly. Oh, how the tables have turned.

I could wish for a world to be kinder to them. Grow at their old pace but that's not the case.

We're going through an intense case of natural selection. The world must go on.
