I tend to be the person that when I can I look for ways to fix things and that in almost every sense of life. That's why today I want to share with hive's friends this repair of an armchair.
In this case I only observed that the legs were weird or different from how they usually are, so I decided to check them and I got that the legs were like bent.
Then I took the initiative to disassemble it to verify what was wrong.
To repair it I used some resources:
Screwdriver
Hammer
Drill
Stapler
Staple puller
White glue
Wood scraps
Saw blade
Staples
Below each picture I explain what I did.
Suelo ser la persona que cuando puedo busco la manera de solucionar las cosas y eso en casi todo los sentidos de la vida. Es por eso que hoy quiero compartir con los amigos de hive está reparación de una poltrona.
En este caso solo observé q las patas estaban raras o sea distintas a cómo suelen estar, por ende decí verificarlas y me conseguí que estaban las patas como dobladas.
Luego tomé la iniciativa de desarmar para verificar que pasaba.
Para su reparación utilice algunos recursos:
Destornillador
Martillo
Taladro
Grampadora
Saca Grapas
Pega blanca
Retazos de madera
Segueta
Grapas
Debajo de cada fotografía explico que fue lo que realice.
Lo primero que hice fue darle la vuelta para revisar por debajo y pues como se observa, se nota como si estuviera partido la parte de atrás de las patas, decidí quitarle las Grapas que tenía para destapar el lado dañado.
The first thing I did was to turn it upside down to check underneath and as you can see, it looks like the back of the legs were broken, I decided to remove the staples I had to uncover the damaged side.
Luego le retire las patas con el taladro.

Al quitar las Grapas y las patas se empezó a descubrir el problema.

Ya descubierto se observo que se fue desprendiendo en sus uniones.
Once uncovered, it was observed that it was becoming detached in its joints.
Al observar esto, decidí desarmarlo por completo y hacerle un refuerzo a su estructura.
After observing this, I decided to disassemble it completely and reinforce its structure.
Observamos cómo reforce con madera y pega fijando con tornillos.

Después de fijar y asegurar la estructura pasamos a retapizar.
After fixing and securing the structure, we move on to reupholstering.
