The last club strengthened by Forlan is the Hong Kong club, Kitchee. Forlan announced his decision to retire from professional football.
"This is not easy, but there are a number of interviews where they ask this question and although I don't want this moment to come, we know that one day I will arrive today and now I have decided to stop playing football professionally," Forlan was quoted as saying.
