Este fin de semana tuve la oportunidad de asistir a un campamento de adolescentes de mi iglesia, donde fui una de las guías de cabañas

Desde muy temprano del día salimos rumbo al lugar donde se llevó a cabo, es un lugar súper espacioso, con muchas áreas verdes, canchas, piscinas, habitaciones y más

Desde que llegamos el clima estaba un poco frío, pues, llovió varias veces, pero eso no nos detuvo para pasarla al máximo. En mi cabaña estábamos 15 adolescentes y 2 adultas a cargo de ellas ¿han convivido alguna vez con esa cantidad de niñas? Gracias a Dios tuve mucha paciencia

Tuvimos diferentes retos para ganar insignias que nos darían la oportunidad de acumular y ganar el premio del campamento. Eso nos emocionaba a todos. Los primeros juegos fueron dentro de la piscina, uno se trataba de buscar objetos ocultos debajo del agua. Lastimosamente a mi equipo no le fué tan bien a este

Luego pasamos a otro donde debíamos cuidar una bañera con agua y lanzar bombas llenas de agua a los que vinieran a atacarlas, en este sincera en hubo un poco de injusticia por parte de los jueces y tampoco salimos victoriosas, pero dimos la pelea y por eso nos dieron una insignia (por no rendirnos)

Esa noche hicimos una actividad fogata, donde cantamos y disfrutamos un rato, los adolescentes recibieron cartas sorpresas por parte de varios de sus familiares y padres (fué un momento icónico, porque lloraron de amor) todos en realidad estábamos muy melancólicos en ese momento

Luego de eso hicimos una noche de talentos súper graciosa, cada equipo debía presentar los talentos que tenían y fué literalmente cómico. Mi equipo quedó de segundo lugar, hubiesen logrado más, pero no estaban tan organizadas, ellas hicieron imitación de acentos, baile improvisado, dibujaron y fueron graciosas

Ese día me dormir súper agotada y tarde, ya al día siguiente sería aún más activo porque realizamos más actividades, fue una mañana lluviosa y fría, luego salió el sol y teníamos era calor

Personalmente, los campamentos de la iglesia me gustan un montón, los disfruto mucho, me apasiona servir y pasarla con otros. En unos meses tendremos otro campamento y aunque sin mentir agotan, la experiencia es satisfactoria y vale la pena al 100%

Finalizamos el campamento con un sin fin de vivencias, experiencias y recuerdos que marcaron nuestras vidas y las de los más pequeños de nuestra iglesia

Desde muy niña siempre he amado asistir a campamentos así, es un deleite disfrutar de la naturaleza y apreciar las cosas bonitas que Dios ha creado

He asistido a muuuchos campamentos y seguiré haciéndolo. La adrenalina, buena onda y diversión nunca me parecerá tediosa

This weekend, I had the opportunity to attend a teen camp organized by my church, where I was one of the cabin leaders.

We left early in the morning, heading to the place where the camp was held. It was a super spacious location with lots of green areas, sports courts, swimming pools, dorm rooms, and more.

From the moment we arrived, the weather was a bit chilly since it rained several times, but that didn’t stop us from having the best time. In my cabin, we had 15 teenage girls and 2 adults in charge. Have you ever lived with that many girls at once? Thank God I had a lot of patience! 😅

We had different challenges to win badges that would help us accumulate points to win the camp’s grand prize. We were all really excited about that. The first games were in the pool—one of them was about finding hidden objects underwater. Unfortunately, my team didn’t do so well in that one.

Then we moved on to another challenge where we had to protect a bathtub full of water while throwing water balloons at those who came to attack it. To be honest, the judges weren’t very fair in this one, so we didn’t win, but we fought hard, and because we didn’t give up, they gave us a badge for our perseverance.

That night we had a campfire activity, where we sang and had a great time together. The teenagers received surprise letters from their parents and family members—it was such a beautiful, emotional moment that had many of them crying happy tears. Honestly, we were all feeling a little melancholic at that point.

After that, we had a talent show night, which turned out to be super funny! Each team had to showcase their talents, and my girls did a great job, although they could have done even better with a bit more organization. They imitated accents, did some freestyle dancing, drew, and made everyone laugh. They ended up winning second place.

That night, I went to bed completely exhausted and very late. The next day was even more active because we had more outdoor activities. The morning was rainy and cold, but later the sun came out, and it suddenly got really hot.

Personally, I really love church camps—I truly enjoy them. I’m passionate about serving and spending time with others. In a few months, we’ll have another camp. And honestly, even though it’s tiring, the experience is 100% worth it.

We finished the camp with countless memories, life-changing experiences, and beautiful moments that marked not only our lives but also those of the youngest ones in our church.

Since I was little, I’ve always loved going to camps like this. It’s a delight to enjoy nature and appreciate all the beautiful things that God has created.

I’ve been to so many camps already, and I’ll definitely keep going. That adrenaline, good vibes, and pure fun never feel boring to me.

I’ll share more about these kinds of memorable moments soon because they are so worth experiencing. Life is meant to be enjoyed by doing different things, stepping away from the city, appreciating life, and fully living every stage.
