On Saturday night we went for a walk in the Santa Cruz neighborhood of Alicante (Spain) on the occasion of the feast of the May crosses. The festival of the crosses of May is celebrated on the occasion of the day of the Holy Cross (May 3) and gives its name to this neighborhood of Alicante.

For the celebration, the neighbors decorate the streets and prepare crosses made with flowers, all different and each one more elaborate that will guard their houses and every corner of the streets of Santa Cruz filling them with color.

Beyond the crosses as a religious symbol that does not go with me, seeing the combination of flowers that each neighbor chooses to decorate the crosses seems wonderful to me and I think it is worth seeing.

In one of the streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, we passed the music band and just at that moment, it started to rain. After more than two months without a drop, it starts to rain at that moment. I don't understand him, because the band was playing very well.

We thought it would be a short storm but it was not. It was raining non-stop for almost an hour and that is not very normal here. The party was over.
