Can large data really be stored on the blockchain?

Or this project is just using the blockchain buzzwords to amplify it's business model of storing data on centralized services which is accessed securely through smart contracts?

If the latter, then its not a true n full decentralized business because if the centralized server is compromised, smart contract may not help.
