I hope you like the following story:

"There was once a lumberjack who showed up to work in a lumberyard, the salary was good, and the working conditions, even better, so the lumberjack set out to make a good paper.
The first day he presented himself to the foreman, who gave him an ax and assigned him an area of the forest. The excited man went out to the woods to chop. In one day he cut eighteen trees.
"I congratulate you, keep it up," said the foreman.
Encouraged by these words, the woodcutter decided to improve his own work the next day. So that night he went to bed early.
The next morning he got up before anyone else and went to the forest. Despite all his efforts, he could not cut more than fifteen trees.
"I must be tired," he thought. And he decided to go to bed with the sunset.
At dawn he rose up determined to beat his mark of eighteen trees. However, that day did not even reach half. The next day there were seven, then five, and on the last day he spent the whole afternoon trying to cut down his second tree.
Concerned about what the foreman would say, the woodcutter went to tell him what was happening to him and to swear and swear that he was pushing himself to the limits of fainting. The foreman asked him:
-When did you sharpen your ax for the last time?

-Sharpen? I have not had time to sharpen: I've been too busy felling trees. "

Reflection:
Surely for each of us sharpening the ax has a different meaning. Some will think of training, others of rest, of changing the way of acting, ... .. What we do have to be clear about is that when we obtain results lower than expected we must analyze and discover what the real problem is that does not we can obtain our objectives.

Success is not final, failure is not fateful. What counts is the courage to continue.
