There are two opposite ways of considering human nature. one considers the man moved by forces, impulses and instincts that act on him from within, the other considers him shaped by the environmental, historical and economic forces that control him from the outside. Psychology, philosophy, history and sociology are largely attempts to define precisely what these internal and external forces are.
