Venezuela has many musical forms, about 20 years ago there was a record of more than 300 of them. The ones that I personally like the most are almost all from the east of the country. This is one of those rhythms, called Jota Carupanera, since it comes from a place called Carúpano, in the Sucre state.
The version that comes with this lyrics was recorded by the great Gualberto Ibarreto and today is this my entry for Steemit Open Mic in its week 140.
Venezuela tiene infinidad de formas musicales, hace aproximadamente unos 20 años había un registro de más de 300 de ellas. Las que a mí, en lo personal, más me gustan, vienen casi todas del oriente del país. Este es uno de esos ritmos, llamado Jota Carupanera, ya que viene de un lugar llamado Carúpano, en el estado Sucre.
