Surely some people might think that what I do is easy. Some things can be seen and heard, but others happen behind the scenes. Playing the trumpet isn't like singing, but you could say there are similar elements to it. For example, in my case, I have to perform calisthenics for a long time, then practice aspects like breathing, phrasing, dynamics, and accentuations. Every day I look for sheet music with hints, with different levels of difficulty. In real time, I'm reading a score and must be attentive to tonality, modulations, and meter changes. Since I don't have a conductor, I have to keep time mentally. The same may happen with singing, but natural talent combined with the versatility of the vocal instrument makes it easier than playing a wind instrument. Something much more commendable is when the artist plays an instrument and sings at the same time. I hope you enjoy this performance. God bless you on this journey.

Seguramente alguno tendrá la percepción de que es algo fácil lo que hago. Hay cosas que se ven y se escuchan, pero hay otras que suceden tras telón. Tocar la trompeta no es como cantar, pero se puede decir que existen elementos similares en su interpretación. Por ejemplo, en mi caso, tengo que realizar calistenia durante un largo tiempo, luego practicar los aspectos como la respiración, el fraseo, las dinámicas y las acentuaciones. Cada día busco partituras con pistas, con diferentes niveles de dificultad. En tiempo real estoy leyendo una partitura, y debo estar atento a la tonalidad, a las modulaciones y a los cambios de métrica. Como no tengo un director, debo llevar el tiempo mentalmente. Puede que suceda lo mismo al cantar, pero el talento natural aunado a la versatilidad del instrumento vocal hace que sea más sencillo que tocar un instrumento de viento. Algo mucho más elogiable, es cuando el artista toca un instrumento y canta a la vez. Espero que disfruten de esta interpretación. Dios le bendiga en esta jornada.
