One of the big problems we face with HBD is that the really large conversions are likely to take place when HIVE is weak.

This creates and amplifying effect which amplifies dips.

For example, during the FTX fiasso, we saw HBD holders convert over a million HBD. This created 3 million HIVE that the community had to absorb in a down market.

Down markets will happen. We need to avoid programs that amplify the downturn.
