I don't see the relation neither
It's funny how it works. Most people can only see the danger of debt in hindsight.
I've seen a large number of initiatives fail because insiders over-leveraged the initiative.
So, it really yanks my chain when I see people taking on irresponsible debt loads.
Of course, we are only a year into the experiment. The first year of a debt regime feels like magic. It is like money is sprouting from nothing!!!
The heavy cost of debt don't kick in for a few years.
I suspect that we will see the price of HIVE and all of the coins based on HIVE will keep dropping.
My guess is that the real hurt won't be apparent for another year.
Right now we just see funny things like the fact that HIVE has fallen to position 218 on Coingecko.
It will be interesting to see what happens when the witnesses realize that they made a world class blunder by promoting debt.
