Currently LEO has a strong dependence on HIVE.

The 20% interest on HBD created an environment where HIVE's stable coin outshines all of the coins on the secondary chain.

To gain 5,000 LEO-users, LEO needs to work to break its dependence on HIVE and to convince people to invest in LEO instead of HIVE.

As for @leo.voter, the remedy is for regular LEO users to buy coins while the coins are cheap.

Unfortunately, that is still a difficult sell when the base currency of HIVE is used to guarantee the HBD loan.
