#hivewatchers coordinates downvotes on discord servers.

Unfortunately, they do not leave reasons for their downvotes on HIVE.

It is infuriating.

Their primary concerns of @hivewatchers are: identity theft, copyright violations, plagiarism and spam.

They should tell us the reason for their actions.

I have seen accounts hijacked. Sadly it is necessary to downvote all of the posts of the account to reduce harms created by the hijacking.

They might be mad because a few posts contain images that lack a copyright notice or a link to the source of the image.

Regardless, downvote campaigns should always include a post explaining the reason for the downvotes. It always makes me feel sad when they do this.

I feel sad when I see an account that is subject to a downvote campaign without a post explaining the reason for the campaign.
