NOTE: While the HBD value of one's upvote varies depending on the price of HIVE. The HIVE value of an upvote stays constant.

When you upvote, you give about 0.006 HP to the post you curate and you receive 0.006 curation reward. The total value of your upvote is around 0.012.

Each upvote consumes 2% of your upvote power. The rewards regenerate at a rate of 20% a day, which means you get 10 upvotes a day. If your upvote 10 times a day; then you generate 0.12 HIVE a day in rewards.

The act of examining one's activity page makes people want to buy more HIVE POWER.

BTW, the minimum HP payout is 0.001. You have 290 HP and your upvote reward is 0.006. 290/6 is about 48 HP. It turns out that people with less than 48 HP rarely get upvote rewards. IMHO, newbies should buy at least 100 HP so that there upvote is worth something.

0.006 rounds to 0.01. Hivestats claims that you are getting 0.01 HP for each upvote, which is wrong.

The bottom section of the HiveStats page shows your Hive-Engine rewards.

There are numerous tribes which supplement Hive rewards with alt coins.

The page shows you have 2.376 in SWAP.HIVE which is doing nothing and you haven't staked many of your rewards.

You might consider spending some time cleaning up your Hive-Engine account. There are three interfaces:

You could withdraw the SWAP.HIVE which would put it in your HIVE account. I would go through my account and sell the tokens of tribes I rarely frequent and buy coins for the tribes that I frequent.
