It's no secret, many folks on social media are too involved with their own bubbles to concern themselves with yours.

If you really want to get an ideas across; you need to get people to buy into them. You have to get people to think that they came up with the idea.

I dislike this approach because it involves manipulation. I think it is better to be upfront and forthright with people. But I've found that when it really matters the only way I can get an idea across is to argue the opposite of the of the idea I support.

When a person refutes someone they don't like, they buy into the idea and it becomes part of their bubble.

This is probably why Marxian dialectics is so effective. In Marxian dialectics the intelligentsia present ideas in the negative and then manipulate people with the paradoxes that their arguments generate.
