I believe that the real revolution will come when people are able to start using currencies for everyday activities.

Unfortunately, companies are deathly afraid of being accused of breaking regulations if they take crypto. A web site could be accused of trading securities without a license, money laundering, tax evasion or worse for trying to develop crypto into their products.

So, we are relegated to playing with crypto on the outside with hopes of breaking into the real economy someday.

Come to think of it, since crypto is locked out of the mainstream economy, the primary things it is good for is base speculation, money laundering, tax evasion and everything the regulators despise. I guess this is how one creates self-fulfilling prophecies.
